Hello, my name is Marty, and woodworking is both my passion and my hobby. My journey began about seven years ago when I ventured into custom carpentry, under the name “Everything Fractd” (which is now a specialty series, that you will find here). Following that, I explored a career as an electrician. While I enjoyed the work, it didn’t bring me the fulfillment I sought. It took hitting rock bottom, both mentally, and spiritually, to rekindle the fire within me and pursue something I genuinely love. Woodworking.

Originally, I attended school for electrical engineering but that was ultimately not God's plan for me. Over the past 20 years, I’ve held many odd jobs, which has taught me that it’s never too late to find your true purpose in life and that everything happens for a reason.

Welcome to my comeback story!

My goal isn’t to focus on money, but to create, and maintain my happiness. I strive to let go of my old self and live by my personal motto: “Carving Dreams into Reality.” In April 2024, I founded my woodworking company with immense support and love from family and friends. This venture has opened my eyes to the life experiences that have always been before me. You can do anything you put your mind to! Just don’t let go of it! When you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing the enemy will never make it easy for you and my eyes are open now. Strength restored; And ready more than ever for the fight!

My love for woodworking stems from these life experiences. It’s about learning from your mistakes and moving forward with the newfound knowledge. Not asking “Why?!”, but instead “For What Purpose” and “What Opportunity am I missing?”.Woodworking, much like a parent's unconditional love and my journey in understanding my neuro-divergent brain, has been a therapeutic journey for me, aiding in my mental, creative, and spiritual healing.

If you've read this far, thank you, and I hope you continue to follow me on this journey!

P.S.A.

Fractal burning is extremely dangerous and life-threatening! I do not recommend it. Many woodworkers have lost their lives attempting to use dangerous versions of the apparatus, leading the American Association of Woodturners to ban fractal burning from all events. For my work, I use a 12kV transformer with built-in ground safety and two additional power supply interrupters to ensure safety.
